Storage Conditions & Indications for Use

Storage Instructions: Store between 15-30℃ (59-86°F), avoid freezing and excessive heat above 40℃ (104°F). Keep the product in its original individual sterile packaging, placed in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight, moisture, sharp objects and corrosive substances. Do not remove the packaging until ready for use to maintain sterility and product stability, with a 3-year shelf life from the manufacturing date.

Indications: Exclusively used for the preparation of a patient’s intact skin prior to surgery, effectively reduces pathogenic bacteria on the skin surface that may cause surgical site infections. Suitable for ultra-large area disinfection of limbs, trunk, abdomen and back in major surgeries, including orthopedic joint replacement, spinal surgery, abdominal general surgery, plastic reconstructive surgery and burn surgery peripheral disinfection; also applicable for central venous catheterization and other large-area invasive procedures.

Basic Usage Warning: For external use on intact skin only.

PREP CAREFULLY - Critical Operational Rules:

• Do not use this 26-ml applicator for head and neck surgery, as the large dosage and coverage area are not suitable for delicate head and neck skin and anatomical structures.

• Do not use on an area smaller than 8.4 in. x 8.4 in.; switch to a smaller-capacity applicator (3ml/6ml/10.5ml 4% CHG models) for small-area disinfection to avoid excessive solution accumulation and skin irritation.

• Do not cover the disinfected area with surgical drapes or use any ignition sources (e.g., electrosurgical cautery, laser, high-temperature equipment) until the solution is completely dry. Drying time requirements: minimum of 3 minutes on hairless skin, up to 1 hour in hairy areas to eliminate residual moisture risks.

• Do not allow the antiseptic solution to pool on the skin surface; immediately remove any wet materials, excess solution or damp drapes from the preparation area to prevent skin maceration and irritation.

Strict Contraindications - DO NOT Use Under Any Circumstances:

• On patients with known allergies or hypersensitivity to chlorhexidine gluconate (CHG).

• For lumbar puncture procedures or in direct contact with the meninges, due to the risk of serious neurological injury.

• On open skin wounds, broken skin, mucous membranes, or as a daily general skin cleanser; this product is only for preoperative sterile preparation, not routine skin care.

• Avoid contact with eyes, ears and mouth during use. If solution accidentally enters these areas, it may cause serious or permanent injury; rinse immediately with plenty of cold water and seek prompt medical attention.

• Discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor if skin irritation, sensitization, redness, swelling or allergic reaction occurs, as these may be signs of a severe adverse condition.

• Keep out of reach of children. If the solution is accidentally swallowed, seek emergency medical help or contact a local Poison Control Center right away without delay.
